INTA 2024 Annual Meeting Live

March 2024

The HGF European team will be attending the INTA Annual Meeting Live, which will take place on 18th-22nd May 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The conference will connect some of the most influential brand professionals across the globe and industries for robust conversations and the exchange of best practices.

HGF’s European Team will be attending the event:

If you would like to arrange a meeting with one of our representatives during the conference, please contact [email protected] and we would be happy to organise this.

We are also delighted that Adjoa Anim will be moderating the panel session ‘Green Marks: A Comparative Review of Greenwashing Challenges in Common Law and Civil Law Jurisdictions’ on the 20th of May.

This exciting session will delve into the dynamic world of consumer demand for eco-friendly products and services, and how companies are promoting their green credentials. However there is increasing scrutiny from regulators, lawmakers, trademark registries, consumer watchdogs, and competitors regarding the accuracy of these claims. The challenge for green brand owners is to raise awareness of their brands while avoiding misleading statements about environmental benefits. The session will focus on the adoption and use of green brands, addressing hurdles brands may face and how to avoid them when selecting and protecting trademarks with an environmental message. They will also examine the similarities and differences between civil and common law jurisdictions in this context.
