HGF’s 10th Annual IP in Retail Conference 2024

August 2024

HGF’s Annual IP in Retail Conference is back, and this year we are celebrating our 10th anniversary. The conferences will take place on the 18th of September in Manchester and the 3rd of October in London.

This year’s retail conference promises a comprehensive look into current and important topics in today’s retail landscape in the field of IP and beyond such as the balance between imitation and innovation, focusing on how lookalikes and dupes challenge brand authority and necessitate advanced protection strategies. It will also explore AI’s impact on the creative and retail sectors, particularly regarding intellectual property. Additionally, the conference will examine comparative advertising, director liability, internet targeting, and the misuse of e-commerce platform compliant procedures, providing insights into maintaining brand integrity in a digital age.

With expert insights from industry professionals and HGF’s experienced attorneys and solicitors, this conference is a must attend for anyone in the retail sector.
