Experience

Kate has over 20 years experience in the patent profession. Her expertise lies in life sciences and biopharmaceutical fields, with a particular emphasis on biologic products. In addition to patent drafting and prosecution, Kate advises on all aspects of patent strategy and life cycle management, regularly handling due diligence matters and opinions relating to validity and infringement. She has extensive experience representing clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO.
