Harry has significant expertise in electronic engineering, particular communication engineering, 4G, 5G, software, cyber security, cryptography, authentication systems and protocols, and telecommunications particularly wireless communication spanning several decades acting on behalf of Intel, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, and Universities, including IP targeted at emerging and established standards.
Harry enjoys being connected to his roots in industrial electronics that is the enabling glue underpinning the majority of electronics, manufacturing and process control systems. Harry has extensive experience working on discrete IC technologies, semiconductors, amplifiers and comparators, interface ICs, data converters, sensors, power management, mixed and digital signal processing, RF & Microwave circuits, control circuits for clocks & timing and frequency control circuits, logic circuit, discrete semiconductor devices, video and audio processor circuits.
Harry also has extensive software experience in protecting the "unprotectable". He has been securing patent protection for software for almost three decades since 1992, when he started in the profession with IBM. Harry acts on behalf of large corporations and SMEs in the software sector.
Harry enjoys working for a large 2D and 3D printer manufacturer, Hewlett-Packard, across all of their print technologies.
More recently, Harry has been acting on behalf of clients who produce drones that use AI or neural networks in their control and guidance systems, or bio-inspired technology; technology following nature's lead.
Harry has acted in high profile matters, including securing patent protection on the signal structure per se on behalf of the Secretary of State for Defence, notwithstanding significant opposition by the EU via the European Commission.
