Experience

Joe joined HGF’s Nottingham office in November 2021 as part of the Electronics team, having qualified to become a Chartered Patent Attorney (UK) and a European Patent Attorney at another firm.

Joe has experience drafting and prosecuting applications across a variety of technologies, from mechanical and structural engineering to electronics, telecommunications and computing technologies.

Joe particularly enjoys working on applications relating to AI and its wide applications. He has particular experience in the issues surrounding drafting and prosecuting AI-related inventions and computer-implemented inventions in general.

Joe works directly with a range of clients including SMEs, Universities and Multinationals.
