Experience

Emma is a friendly, approachable and knowledgeable trainee member of the trade marks team at HGF. Prior to joining in 2018, she obtained a Law degree and a first-class Masters in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Manchester. She also spent a short time working in Amsterdam for a well-known fashion brand.

Under the supervision of qualified Trade Mark Attorneys Emma has already worked with clients from a wide range of industries and have particular experience advising on new trade mark and design applications, conducting pre-filing trade mark clearance searches and drafting legal arguments to be submitted before the UK and EU IP Offices. She can also assist with brand enforcement and the monitoring of e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba and Taobao.
