Experience

Aron joined HGF’s Glasgow office in January 2023 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in Life Sciences.

A graduate of The University of Edinburgh and recipient of multiple scholarships and awards, his doctoral studies focused on gene editing and DNA repair in algae which led to first-author publications in PNAS and Nature Communications, a book chapter and a patent application. He has several years’ experience working in biotechnology start-ups in scientific and business development roles.

He is an empathic listener with an analytical and strategic mindset who is motivated by seeing the societal and commercial impacts of transformative life sciences innovation.
