Pro-Manchester Creative Conference

HGF is proud to be a premium sponsor of the Pro-Manchester Creative Conference which will be held at the UA92 in Manchester on 20th September.

The conference will discuss digital transformation, remote productivity hacks and the latest trends and developments in tech, the web and marketing.

HGF Partners and Trade Mark Attorneys Lee Curtis and Lauren Somers, and Trainee Trade Mark Attorney Melissa Buamah will be attending.

Lee Curtis will also be speaking on the panel ‘How artificial intelligence learns a threat to creatives?’ where they will explore:

Should the way artificial intelligence learns be treated in the way as a human? Do intellectual property laws need to be amended to protect the role of creatives and their output and how will governments balance the rights of creatives with the expanding role of AI applications in the economy? Can creatives do anything themselves to protect the appropriation of their IP by AI application providers?
