39th Annual Fall Institute on Intellectual Property Law

September 2023

HGF Partner Nick Manley, Patent Director Alastair Blake, and Patent Attorney, John Johnston will be attending the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association’s 39th Annual Fall Institute on IP Law.

This premier conference will take place in Galveston Texas at the Moody Gardens Hotel from the 5th of October to the 7th of October and will hear from a range of expert speakers in the industry.

This year’s conference includes:

  • Keynote Speaker:  Andrei Iancu, former Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and former Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP; 
  • Diversity Breakfast Speaker: Kathleen Dohmlo, SABIC; and 
  • Judicial Panel: including Hon. Charles Eskridge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Hon. K. Nicole Mitchell, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Hon. Robert Pitman, U.S., District Court for the Western District of Texas, and Hon. Derek Gilliland, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
