pro-manchester Creative Conference

August 2023

Event date: 22nd September 2023

HGF are proud sponsors of the pro-manchester Creative Conference due to be held on 22nd September at Host Salford.

At this event, you can hear experts in the creative industry discuss a range of different topics including how emerging trends and technologies will shape the industry.

HGF Partner Lee Curtis will be speaking on ‘The impact of Generative AI on IP law in the field of online search and the creative process.’

Generative AI has the potential to impact all parts of society and the economy. However, where its potential impact is the greatest is in the creative and advertising industries. Chatbots such as ChatGPT have the potential to upend the keyword advertising market and change how this ever-growing sector is conducted. The introduction of these new players in the advertising market also has major implications for intellectual property law in this area.

HGF Trade Mark Director, Lauren Somers, and Trade Mark Attorney Emma Pallister will also be attending the event.

Join us at the pro-manchester creative event to be part of these conversations about the impact of Generative AI on IP law in the field of online search and the creative process.
