Experience

Thomas graduated from the University of Sheffield in the UK in 2017 with a first-class Master's degree specialising in electronic communications, studying a range of mobile and wireless communication methods. During his degree, Thomas completed projects on Ultrasonic Measurement Techniques and Assistive Technologies for the elderly.

Thomas has experience drafting and prosecuting patents relating to computing, software, communications standards, test and measurement equipment, and medical devices.

Thomas joined HGF in November 2017 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Sheffield office, and has been a qualified UK and European Patent Attorney since August 2022.
