Tamsin is a Trainee/ Part-Qualified Trade Mark Attorney based in HGF's Manchester office. She graduated from the University of Exeter with a Law LLB.

Tamsin works alongside HGF's qualified Trade Mark Attorneys to help businesses protect the brands they've worked hard to build. She supports on matters for a wide range of clients, from start-ups taking their first steps to established international names, across trade marks, designs and copyright.

Her work covers the full life of a brand. She assists with clearance and filing strategy for new brands and helps take applications through to registration in the UK, EU and internationally. She also supports on oppositions and invalidity actions, including preparing evidence and handling settlement negotiations. When a client's brand or design is copied, she helps take action. That can include drafting cease-and-desist letters, working on design right and passing off claims, or clearing copycat listings from online marketplaces.

Tamsin is passionate about sharing her knowledge of IP with students and the wider community. She was a panelist on The Fashion Law Edit’s Women in Fashion Law webinar for International Women’s Day, joining a cross-border panel from the UK and the US to discuss collaboration, mentorship and building visibility in the fashion law industry. She has been a guest speaker on the Trade Mark module of the LLB at Queen Mary, University of London, and has attended the university’s Fashion Law LLM Day also speaking as a panellist. She has given talks to students at different Universities in Birmingham and Exeter.
