Sam has an expertise in materials chemistry, having recently completed his PhD at Loughborough University where his research involved the application of advanced solid-state synthesis and characterisation techniques to develop porous materials for the separation of biobutanol from waste biomass resources. Additionally, Sam has experience working on catalysis for plastic recycling, the development of energy storage materials, and green synthesis procedures.
