Patrick Neunteufel combines experience in advanced scientific research and intellectual property expertise.

He assists clients throughout the lifecycle of a patent, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to defending and challenging patents in opposition, nullity, and infringement proceedings. He has insights in patent litigation before the German patent courts, including the German Federal Patent Court and the German Federal Court of Justice, as well as infringement proceedings.

His technical expertise spans semiconductors, computer-implemented inventions, electronics, optics, camera systems, particle detectors, control engineering, mechanical engineering, and automotive technologies.

Prior to entering the patent profession, Patrick conducted research in astrophysics and particle physics. He authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications in leading international journals, including Nature Astronomy, Astronomy & Astrophysics, The Astrophysical Journal, Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, and Physical Review D.
