Minghui is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney, specialising in patent matters in the technology area of electrical and electronic systems and computer software.

With deep technical expertise in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, power converters used in electric vehicles, electric motors and semiconductor devices and fabrication, Minghui has extensive experience handling complex technologies. She is also well-versed in traction batteries, battery management system, industrial printers, electromedical devices, artificial intelligence and telecommunications such as 5G/6G standards.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Minghui can effectively collaborate with inventors in Chinese and draft patent applications in English according to the UK and European practice. She takes pride in delivering precise and commercially valuable patent strategies as well as responsive client service.

Her practice covers drafting and prosecuting UK and European patent applications, and managing patent portfolios for start-ups, SMEs and multinational corporations. She also has significant experience in prosecuting patent applications in other major global markets, including the US, China, and Japan, and is well-versed in EPO Opposition and Appeal proceedings.

Minghui was trained at another top UK firm and has become dual-qualified since 2019. During her training, she was awarded the Moss Prize for achieving the highest aggregate mark in passing two of the UK’s patent attorney qualification exams. In the 2019 European patent attorney qualifying exams, she achieved the second highest aggregate mark across all of the four exam papers in Europe. She also had industry experience as an integrated circuit designer at a multinational semiconductor company.
