Experience

Kelly is an IP Solicitor with experience across a broad range of intellectual property and commercial disputes, including patent litigation, trade mark matters and IP enforcement. Qualified in New Zealand and practising in England, she has advised clients on complex and cross-border patent disputes and wider IP litigation strategy broad range of sectors including, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and telecommunications industries. She has experience litigating before the UK Patents Court, and Court of Appeal.

Before joining HGF, Kelly practised in New Zealand, advising clients on intellectual property and commercial disputes across a range of industries and IP rights. Since moving to the UK, she has focused on contentious intellectual property matters, working on high-value patent litigation.

She is recognised for her pragmatic approach, clear communication and strong client focus. Kelly works closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives and develop effective legal strategies to support them. She enjoys tackling complex legal and technical issues, thrives in fast-paced environments and is known for building strong relationships with clients, counsel and colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.
