Experience

Harri is a highly experienced and diligent attorney who has advised some of the world’s best-known multi-national brands, as well as SMEs and start-ups, across a range of industry sectors including fashion, beauty, FMCG, FemTech, retail, food and drink, technology and AI.

Her expertise spans a wide range of IP services including devising and implementing IP strategies, overseeing global portfolio management, advising on and managing contentious IP proceedings worldwide, undertaking worldwide trade mark clearance searching, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, advising on licensing and franchise arrangements, advising on brand reputational issues, implementing and managing online and offline brand enforcement programmes.

Harri understands that the following aspects are key to a client’s positive experience in working with legal advisors and as a result, these aspects are integral to Harri’s approach when working with her clients:
- Commerciality: providing high quality legal advice in a clear, commercial way.
- Creativity: thinking around problems to find solutions that suit the client’s approach, goals and budget.
- Clarity on cost: being clear and upfront on costs for specific projects and providing annual bespoke IP budgets to clients which reflect a keen understanding of the client’s portfolio and commercial aims.
- Approachable: being seen as an extension of the client’s in-house legal team rather than as an external advisor.

Throughout her practice, Harri has developed a particular expertise in fashion meaning she has extensive knowledge of the issues facing fashion brands in relation to different aspects of their IP (including designs and copyright) and in providing solutions to these challenges.
