Experience

Eleanor graduated from the University of Oxford in 2019 with a BA in Biomedical Sciences. During her time at university, Eleanor focused her studies on immunology, immunotherapeutics and the biology of brain disorders. Her final year project involved research into the molecular mechanisms underlying the pathology of Alzheimer’s Disease. Eleanor joined HGF in September 2019 as a Trainee Patent Attorney working in the Life Sciences team. She has since completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University and has passed several of the European qualifying examinations.

Eleanor has experience with drafting patent applications and global prosecution, with a particular focus on UK and European prosecution. Eleanor helps manage global portfolios and co-ordinate prosecution strategies. Eleanor works on a variety of different technologies, particularly those in the field of cell and gene therapy. Eleanor works with a range of clients including universities, start-ups, independent research institutes and small to medium enterprises. She has particular experience in drafting and prosecuting T cell and TCR related applications.
