Dublin IP and R&D Summit

Event date: 29th June 2023

HGF are sponsors of the Dublin IP and R&D Summit on the 29th of June at the Dublin Convention Centre.

Covering two days, the conference will host panels and stand-alone sessions on stage; their exhibiting space will also be active, operating as a hub for professionals to network and share their experiences in the two interconnected verticals in the economy of innovation.

HGF Partner Marie Walsh will be moderating the panel and speaking on the session Get Set Go: Has the sun risen on Unitary Patents and the Unified Patent Court system? What are the challenges for Irish businesses and what strategies can be put in place to navigate forward?’. This panel session looks to cover:

  • Has the sun risen for Unitary Patents and the Unified Patent Court system?
  • What are the challenges and opportunities for Irish businesses?
  • What is the impact on Ireland for being outside the UPC System?

HGF Partner Craig Thomson will be speaking at the event on ‘Strategic Thinking on Competitor’s IP: what is to be gained and how to respond to investor questions?’.
