Experience

Melissa first realised her interest in Brands and Trade Marks after completing Commercial and Intellectual Property work experience. She has continued to develop her knowledge through studying Business on her undergraduate degree and Intellectual Property on her LLMs.

Melissa has an undergraduate degree (BA) in Law and Business (with a qualifying Law Degree) from the University of Warwick, in which she gained a 2:1 and has an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham and an LLM in Legal Practice from BPP University, both of which she passed with a Merit.

Melissa also has a wide range of legal and commercial experience, including assisting with advising clients in trade mark oppositions, drafting trade mark applications and trade mark monitoring.
