Experience

Mat handles the drafting and prosecution of patent applications across a wide range of chemical subject matter, including pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical formulations, agrochemicals, alloys, medical devices, functionalised surfaces and surface coatings, and nano-materials.

Mat has a First Class Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield, as well as a PhD in Surface Chemistry from the same institution. His doctoral research focussed on the development of self-assembled monolayers and their potential to create molecular-scale structures on surfaces.
