Dr Richard Jenkins Partner
Richard’s practice spans the fields of telecommunications, electronics, computer-implemented inventions, physics, and medical devices. Within these fields, Richard has extensive experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications relating to mobile phone technology, analogue and digital electronic circuits, the structure and manufacture of electronic devices, fibre-optic systems, electrical and electromechanical devices, power generation, and surgical apparatus.

Lucy’s extensive experience covers a broad spectrum of subject matter, from simple engineering, such as joist hangers and packaging, through water treatment systems to welding, automotive and oil and gas technology. Nigel Sanderson Partner
Nigel’s practice is balanced between chemistry and mechanical and engineering subject matter. Nigel has particular experience in organic and pharmaceutical chemistry including pharmaceutical formulations and over-the-counter (non-prescription) medicines, together with fast moving consumer goods such as hard surface cleaners, laundry products, depilatories and air fresheners.

Kate handles a diverse portfolio of technologies in the life sciences and biopharmaceutical fields, including diagnostic and therapeutic targets, SNPs, antisense nucleic acids, GMOs, antibody and peptide therapeutics.

Dr Jennifer Uno Partner
Jennifer is a Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney with first and doctoral degrees in engineering and considerable experience in the patent field both in the UK and Japan.

Specialising in the field of electronics, Richard has particular experience in the areas of mobile devices, data storage systems, communication networks and computer implemented inventions.

Dr Daniel Woollaston Patent Director
Since joining HGF in 2010, much of Daniel’s work has concerned the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications across a broad spectrum of chemical sciences, but particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry and new materials. Daniel also has experience in advising on freedom to operate issues.

Dr Patrick Clarke Senior Patent Attorney
Patrick joined HGF in 2014 and specialises in the drafting and prosecution of telecommunications and consumer electronics related patent applications. Prior to joining HGF he completed two-and-half years training at a leading private practice firm.

Zoe Goodrum Senior Patent Attorney
Zoe joined HGF in 2012 after completing a Bacherlors degree in Physics from Durham University. She has since progressed quickly through the professional patent exams and is now a European and UK qualified Patent Attorney.
