HGF UPC events in Germany and Austria 2022

March 2022

Event date: 10th May 2022

HGF is holding a webinar and an in-person event covering the UPC in Germany and Austria this Spring.

The provisional phase of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) is now underway and it is likely to come into force in the second half of 2022 or early 2023. In our seminars on the UPC and the European patent with unitary effect or unitary patent (UP), we will explain how you can obtain unitary protection for a large part of the EU member states with a single application to the European Patent Office. We will discuss the impact of the UPC on your existing European patent portfolios and the possibility of a unitary procedure to enforce European patents valid and in force in the participating EU Member States.
