Meeting this goal requires innovative solutions and the adoption of new technologies in water treatment and management. These new technologies will help to improve existing water systems and scale supply for the many in the world still lacking clean water and sanitation.

The global challenge will be driven by universities, research organisations, and companies that will need to develop and commercialise their ideas.

HGF actively contributes to this SDG by helping clients in the water and water treatment industries to develop commercial IP strategies, secure IP protection, understand and manage their freedom to operate, licence their technology and, if necessary, enforce their IP.

By engaging with and supporting clients in the water and water treatment industries, HGF plays a crucial role in advancing technologies that contribute to achieving SDG 6. Through the development and implementation of effective HGF strategies, we support the global community in its quest to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
