Experience

Jillian is a Patent Attorney in HGF's Technology and Engineering group. Jillian is a degree-qualified chemist and works across technologies in the engineering and chemistry sectors, with a particular focus on energy-related technologies, such as in oil and gas and offshore wind.

Jillian has experience working with a wide range of clients, from multinational corporations, to SMEs, start ups and single inventors. Jillian particularly enjoys working with clients in developing their IP strategy, ensuring it aligns with business needs and helping client’s maximise their return on investment.

Jillian graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first class MChem degree. During her degree, Jillian spent 12 months working for a large chemicals company in Stamford, Connecticut.
