Experience

Alasdair works on numerous technologies and industries including: oil and gas, aviation, renewables, transportation, automotive, electrical, filtration, and mechanical engineering. He has experience in working with a wide variety of clients; from large international companies to single applicants/inventors.

Based in the Highlands of Scotland, near Inverness, Alasdair works full time from home as a Patent Attorney servicing local as well as distant clients.

As well as being a UK and European Patent Attorney, Alasdair is also a Design Attorney. Designs are an option if the appearance of a product is to be protected, rather than the technical function.

Alasdair enjoys learning how things work and how they are put together. Mechanical engineering was therefore the natural choice for university studies.
