Aaliyah joined HGF in October 2025 as a Trainee in the Technology and Engineering Group. She graduated from King's College London in 2024 with a first-class MEng degree in Biomedical Engineering. In her final year, she worked alongside Kew Gardens to research the development of effective cryopreservation techniques for Aesculus and Quercus species.

She has a broad research background and has completed projects in the fields of cryopreservation, medical imaging, biomechanics, and telesurgery for intravascular thrombectomy.
