The Intellectual Property Report

March 2019

HGF Partners David Potter, Matt Dixon and Lee Curtis comment on current Intellectual Property issues in ‘The Intellectual Property report’ published by Raconteur in The Times on 19th March 2019.

Raconteur have today published a 16 page special report entitled Intellectual Property. The report investigates the dynamic terrain of IP. Amid ongoing Brexit uncertainty and the ongoing US-China trade war looming over business owners, the tangle of IP rights presents still more problems. The report published in The Times explores what the future holds for creatives and patent holders, and how advances in technology will shape IP law.

HGF partners David Potter, Matt Dixon and Lee Curtis all comment in the report:

  • David Potter – Brexit and a pan-European approach to brand protection
  • Lee Curtis – IP can make or break your brand
  • Matt Dixon – Does the idea of a 20-year patent term still match the pace of technological and commercial development?
