Pro-Manchester Retail Lunch 2023

March 2023

HGF is sponsoring the Pro – Manchester Retail Lunch 2023 on the 27th of April at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Retailers have continued to face numerous challenges over the last twelve months. The restriction-free return to stores has been a blessing for many and an opportunity to blend in-store experiences and emerging tech with online offering. Inflationary pressures have however impacted consumer attitudes and spending, as well as increased retailer production, logistics and labour costs. The Pro – Manchester Retail Lunch will look at how some retailers have succeeded against this climate, how others have struggled and what can be learnt from both. We will also look forward to the current year, discussing developing trends in the sector and how these may align with anticipated consumer behaviours.

HGF Trade Mark Director Lauren Somers will be chairing the lunch and both panel sessions at the event.

Lauren has also written an article for the Pro – Manchester Retail Lunch on “Retail in 2023 – An attempt to be everything, everywhere, all at once?”. You can read the article here.
