IP is a key asset for technology-driven companies and is used to attract funding from investors at all stages of a company’s development. Companies that can demonstrate an intelligent IP strategy are more likely to gain investor confidence, whereas any weakness in an IP portfolio can reduce company value and undermine a funding deal.
