HGF Ranked #5 in Top UK Trade Mark Law Firms (2021-2025)

We are proud to share that HGF has been ranked 5th in the Top 50 Trade Mark Law Firms from Great Britain in a recent report from IP Pilot.
The ranking is based on trade mark representation data covering a five-year period, analysing the number of UK trade mark filings prosecuted by firms between 2021 and 2025. Drawing from official UKIPO records, the report evaluates the Top 1,000 UK trade mark attorney firms and identifies the leading 50 by overall filing volume.
About the IP Pilot Report
IP Pilot’s analysis captures one of the most dynamic periods in the UK trade mark system. Following Brexit, 2021 saw record filing activity driven by administrative changes, increased direct UK filings from overseas applicants, and a surge in post-pandemic entrepreneurial activity.
While volumes moderated slightly in 2022 and 2023, they remained significantly above pre-Brexit levels, with growth returning again in 2024. The report highlights a market that is both competitive and evolving, shaped by international demand and increasing digitisation.
