Experience

Alex is a UK and European Patent Attorney with a First Class M.Chem degree from the University of Oxford. He works across the entire spectrum of chemical inventions, with particular expertise in polymer chemistry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, battery technology, oil and gas operations, refrigerants, materials and consumer products.

Alex has extensive experience in prosecuting applications at the EPO, UKIPO and globally, and has successfully handled a number of commercially important Oppositions and Appeals at the EPO.

Alex also provides strategic advice on IP portfolios as well as opinions on the infringement and validity of patents.
