Experience

James has a first class Masters in Chemistry from the University of Manchester.

He has over 5 years experience in Research and Development in the medical device industry, specialising in the improvement of surgical glove products. He regularly worked with industrial partners and Universities to deliver improved products.

James joined HGF in 2014 as a trainee patent attorney. He qualified as a Chartered and European patent attorney in 2019.

Since joining HGF, James has acquired experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in a wide range of chemical based fields, including pharmaceuticals and two-dimensional materials.
