Intellectual Property – Are you protecting your business ideas?

April 2021

Event date: 10th May 2021

HGF and British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce are holding a webinar on 10th May 2021.

Join HGF Partner and Patent Attorney Mike Nelson and Michaël Alder, Legal Advisor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) in Berne, for a discussion on all things IP, starting with the bigger, international picture and then taking a closer look at some of the “IP essentials” which businesses need to bear in mind if they are to protect their products and brands.

IP often underpins the commercial value of a business organisation. Yet many smaller companies do not have the resources to employ in-house IP specialists and may fail to identify and properly protect valuable IP. The current climate of economic uncertainty raises challenges, but also opportunities, and developing an effective IP strategy will continue to be a key factor in business success. The event will also touch upon COVID and Brexit aspects.
