Why HGF? What attracted you?
HGF was offering a trainee position in Life Sciences in Scotland.
What parts of your job do you enjoy the most and why?
As part of a secondment to one of our clients, I got to work closely with inventors on a broad range of intellectual property tasks. It is very rewarding to see technologies evolve over time and help protect them.
How is your training going and how are you being supported by the firm?
Although my training has been hard, time-consuming and preoccupying, it has also been rewarding and constructive – it is nice to be a bit more competent in your job every day. HGF offers a supportive training environment with a mix of on-the-job training and organised tutorials/mentoring sessions.
