CleanTech

Because of the large and varied issues which fall under the CleanTech banner it is essential to ensure that your representation is as refined as the issues you are addressing to drive the best outcomes for you.

HGF has one of the largest and most experienced teams of attorneys in Europe.  Split over four principal technical disciplines we  have  professionals located in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland, and collectively we have a diverse blend of high-standard degrees and doctorates in specialist areas.

We act for a global client base and cover the full spectrum of CleanTech work, for example relating to energy reduction and efficiency (alternative energies, renewables, fossil fuels, biomass), water use and distribution, electricity distribution and grid balancing, building and built environment, pollution reduction and mitigation.

We have established an enviable reputation in our field and continue to grow our client base, predominately by recommendation.  We work closely with our clients to devise the optimal IP strategy to achieve the best commercial outcome.  We have extensive experience in the drafting, prosecution and management of world-wide patent portfolios, as well as conducting freedom-to-operate assessments, handling IP due diligence evaluations and handling oppositions and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, all backed up by our experience in IP commercialisation.
