Dr Mark Sellick
Mark graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011 with an MPhys degree in Theoretical Physics. He then stayed at Leeds to pursue an interdisciplinary PhD in nanotechnology.
During his undergraduate degree in theoretical physics Mark chose to focus on quantum physics and developed a particular interest in quantum computing.
After graduating in 2011 Mark chose to join the multi-disciplinary Centre for Doctoral Training in Molecular Scale Engineering to pursue a PhD in nanotechnology. His research was into electronic control of protein interactions and combined the fields of biochemistry and electronic engineering.
Mark joined HGF in May 2016 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the York Office.
