Richard a rejoint HGF en décembre 2023 en tant que conseil en brevets au sein de l'équipe Sciences de la vie.

Il est titulaire d'une licence en biochimie de l'Université de Nottingham et d'un master en biologie cardiovasculaire de l'Université d'Édimbourg.

Richard a obtenu son doctorat au Centre de recherche cardiovasculaire de l'Université d'Édimbourg en 2019. Ses recherches portaient sur l'interaction entre la restriction calorique alimentaire, le tissu adipeux de la moelle osseuse et les hormones sécrétées par les graisses.
