Claire a rejoint le bureau de Glasgow d'HGF en janvier 2023 en tant que Conseil en brevets stagiaire au sein de l'équipe Sciences de la vie. Elle a obtenu son diplôme de l'Université de Glasgow en 2015 avec une licence en Neurosciences mention très bien, où elle était boursière de talent. Elle a également obtenu un Master à l'Université de Glasgow en 2018, spécialisé en statistiques cliniques.

Claire a obtenu un doctorat en Médecine de précision de l'Université d'Édimbourg en novembre 2022. Ses recherches portaient sur l'investigation des signatures épigénétiques de l'inflammation et leurs associations avec les phénotypes de neuroimagerie structurelle dans le trouble dépressif majeur.
