HGF Attending BMCS Antibody–Drug Conjugates 2026
HGF is pleased to announce that Dr Thomas Lonsdale, Patent Director, will be attending the BMCS Antibody–Drug Conjugates 2026 meeting, taking place on 19 November 2026 at GSK, Stevenage, UK. The event will bring together leading experts from industry and academia to discuss the latest technological advances, innovations, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
Organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector (RSC BMCS), the conference will explore the growing impact of ADCs and other targeted therapeutic modalities, highlighting recent clinical successes and the next generation of technologies shaping the future of drug discovery and development. The programme features presentations from renowned researchers and organisations at the forefront of ADC design, bioconjugation, payload development and therapeutic innovation.
Representing HGF at the event, Dr Thomas Lonsdale is a senior patent attorney with extensive expertise in patent drafting, prosecution, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis and opposition proceedings. He advises a broad range of clients across the chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical and materials sectors, helping innovative businesses protect and maximise the value of their intellectual property.
Tom has particular experience working at the interface of chemistry and life sciences, with a strong interest in pharmaceutical innovation and emerging technologies. He holds a First-Class Master’s degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oxford, bringing a deep technical understanding to complex innovations in the life sciences sector.
The ADC landscape continues to develop at pace, creating exciting opportunities for innovators while also presenting increasingly complex intellectual property considerations. Events such as BMCS Antibody–Drug Conjugates 2026 provide an invaluable forum for sharing scientific insights, exploring new technologies and discussing the commercialisation and protection of breakthrough therapies.
If you are attending the event and would like to discuss intellectual property strategies for antibody-drug conjugates, bioconjugates, pharmaceuticals or related technologies, Tom would be delighted to connect.
