Paul has been HGF's CEO since 2004. He is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the firm and the delivery of its performance objectives. Under his leadership, the firm's turnover has grown 10-fold from £8.3 million to £80.3 million, with profits rising 23-fold from £0.9 million to £20.4 million. Paul is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, a non-practising solicitor of the Republic of Ireland and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Bristol.
