Experience

Lukas obtained his undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin and went on to do his PhD with Professor Sylvia M. Draper. His work focused on the design and synthesis of ruthenium and iridium triplet photosensitisers for biological applications, resulting in a number of academic publications.

He also assisted colleagues in a wide range of fields, including photolithography and on-surface polymerisation. Having previously worked with HGF Patent Director Marie Walsh, he joined the HGF Dublin office in 2022 to lend his expertise in inorganic and organometallic chemistry.
