Experience

Elly is a trainee patent attorney within the electronics sector, specialising in patent prosecution and drafting in Europe and the UK. Having started my training in November 2017, she obtained a post-graduate certificate in Intellectual Property from Bournemouth University in 2018.

Over the course of her time as a patent attorney Elly has handled patents from the earliest stages of patent drafting through to prosecution, oral proceedings, and appeals, working with large multinational companies as well as smaller clients.

Elly has experience with a large variety of technologies, including user interfaces, telecommunications including 4G and 5G , and wireless technologies

She has also worked on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications of both mechanical and software-based technologies in areas such as printer technology, encryption and security.
