Experience

Craig has decades of experience working in patents in Aberdeen, protecting diverse technologies often relating to the energy sector, be it Oil and Gas or renewables.

He has particular experience working with clients for original drafting and subsequent prosecution of patents, and is a volunteer marker for the drafting and prosecution professional exams to become a European Patent Attorney, marking candidate answers in English and French.

He also assists clients in IP strategy tailored to follow their business goals, and has also gained valuable business knowledge through completing a number of Harvard Business School online courses including one on Disruptive Strategy.

He also enjoys advocating for clients at ex parte and inter parte oral proceedings at the European Patent Office, and outside work, was part of the Scottish team to win the JCI World Debating Championships.
