UPC Seminar in Düsseldorf

HGF and Krieger Mes are hosting a German-language seminar on the UPC in practice: initial experiences, strategies, and practical insights, followed by networking and catering at the Krieger Mes offices.

The Seminar will be held on 17th June 2025 from 2.00pm – 5.00pm at Krieger Mes, Bennigsen-Platz 1, 40474 Düsseldorf.

HGF Partner Bernhard Ganahl will join Prof. Dr. Jochen Bühling, Jens Künzel, and Dr. Dirk Jestaedt from Krieger Mes to discuss first-hand experiences before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), including strategic considerations around opt-out/opt-in, cost implications, enforcement, territorial scope, and practical takeaways from early oral hearings.

This engaging event will explore the first practical lessons from UPC proceedings and assess their impact on patent strategy across Europe.
