For any medicine marketed in Europe, a key commercial consideration is the timing of generic or biosimilar market entry. Protection from competition is derived from two principal sources: intellectual property rights (patents and Supplementary Protection Certificates), and regulatory exclusivities. The new EU Pharma Package introduces changes to the regulatory exclusivities that are available.<\/p>\n

In this seminar, Dr Andrew Wells will explain the proposed reforms and discuss what they mean for both innovator and generic pharmaceutical companies.<\/p>\n
