Robin Cade

Trainee Patent Attorney

Robin joined HGF in 2020 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Engineering team. Robin obtained an MPhys from Lancaster University.

Robin’s MPhys degree focussed on particle physics with cosmology. He particularly enjoyed studying quantum computing and neutrino physics. His Masters dissertation aimed to reduce error in the ND280 detector at the T2K Experiment, in Japan. He also undertook an intern placement at Mullard Space Science Laboratory, part of UCL; where he designed detector apparatus for the QB50 satellites. Robin has also supported a physics outreach programme whilst at University. His role was to develop realistic physics in Mine Craft.

Robin has worked on projects which demonstrate a strong ability to solve difficult mathematical problems. This included Smallpeice summer schools in electrical, communications and nuclear engineering.
