Rianna joined HGF in June 2016 as a Trainee Patent Attorney and is working within the Electronics group at the London office. She recently graduated from the University of Southampton, UK with a First Class MEng degree in Electronic Engineering.
During Rianna’s studies she worked on various projects with a focus on photonics and communications. For her Masters dissertation, she created a biological sorter using raman spectroscopy. Other projects included a screen printed fabric pressure sensor to aid in hull condition monitoring and a movement and fall sensor to be used by the vulnerable.
Rianna received the Zepler scholarship at University for academic performance in her course.
During University Rianna worked at Ericsson Television Ltd creating a black box for their transceiver product by measuring certain aspects of the product to ensure the system worked effectively.
