Cassandra graduated in July 2015 from the University of Manchester with a first class MPhys degree in Mathematics and Physics, specialising in non-linear dynamics and statistical physics.

Cassandra's work on stochastic population dynamics was recently published in the Journal of Theoretical Biology. Subsequently she received a Wellcome Trust scholarship to attend Newcastle University where she completed an MRes in Neuroscience, and then conducted further research on the innovation of engineering solutions to the assessment of dog welfare, exploring the potential to use the entropy of accelerometer signals as a welfare parameter.

Cassandra joined HGF’s Manchester office in October 2017 as part of the Electronics team.
