HGF Ltd, Intellectual Property Specialists, moves into Continental Europe
HGF have opened a new office in The Hague. This latest expansions activity is the first in Continental Europe and becomes the 11th office in HGF's growing portfolio.
The office is centrally located in the heart of The Hague and is led by Dr Achim Krebs who joins the firm as a Partner. The new office provides a base for HGF in the Netherlands, the third largest patent filing nation in Europe, with facilities close to the expanding European Patent Office, which already houses 40% of its staff in The Hague.

Achim has considerable experience in the creation and management of cost-effective IP portfolios to suit various business strategies, as well as in contentious matters such as oppositions and litigation. He regularly advises on intellectual property aspects of technology projects and transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and collaborations.

Achim presently co-chairs the Chemicals, Energy, Environmental and Materials Committee of the Licensing Executive Society International, and serves as Board Member for the Licensing Executive Society (LES) Benelux. He regularly lectures on the subjects of licensing.
Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Achim worked as researcher, trouble shooter, technical expert, sales executive and distribution sales manager, all in various Royal Dutch Shell companies.
Achim is qualified as a European, Dutch and Belgian patent attorney and holds a litigation certificate from the University of Strasbourg.
